The Technopreneurship Centre of the School of Consumer Intelligence and Information Systems in collaboration
with Yoga Plus Johannesburg and the UJ Library is hosting the first UJ Library Restorative Yoga and VR Meditation, titled:
Pre-Exam Restorative Yoga: “Let me see you do the YOGA!”

Restorative Yoga is a deeply relaxing and receptive style of yoga. It is a gentle way to de-stress, re-energise and find balance. Whether you’re having trouble sleeping, studying for exams, or want a sense of overall wellbeing, you will be able to let go of deep holding patterns of tension or behaviour, and find balance in body, soul and mind. Restorative Yoga focuses on undoing the root of most problems with our health: stress. Through guided breathing exercises, therapeutic music, essential oils, light touch and supported postures using bolsters, blankets and blocks, we will facilitate a healing, nurturing space for you to unwind, away from the bustle and hustle of daily UJ life.

“Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity.”
Hippocrates, Ancient Greek physician.

Facilitators:
Ms. Eliza Roza Yoga Instructor and Founder, Yoga Plus
Mr. Malcolm Ché Co-Founder, Yoga Plus and Creative Technologist
Prof. Abejide Ade-Ibijola Lead: Technopreneurship Centre, APB, UJ
